How voting works
- Each browser gets 3 votes for this contest.
- You can give each photo one vote.
- While voting is open, you can take back a vote and give it to another photo.
- Your choices are remembered in this browser. Your name, email address and phone number aren’t shown with your votes.
Your permission
When you enter a photo, you agree to this: “Enter this photo in the contest and show it in the public voting gallery.”
- Adding your photo to the public album and entering the contest are separate choices. You can print your photo without doing either.
- You can withdraw your entry on your photo’s page at any time. Its votes stop counting. If you enter the photo again, those earlier votes don’t come back.
- The event team can hide or remove an entry. Its votes stop counting.
From the organizers
Enter a costume photo you took or have permission to share. Get permission from everyone pictured, and a parent or guardian for children. Keep photos appropriate for a community event. Enter each photo once in its best-fitting category. Choose up to three different favorites. Do not use automated voting or create extra ballots. Tied entries share their place. The event team may remove unsafe photos or manipulated votes.
